Happy Holidays from Larry’s Tax Law | Foster Garvey PC

Like last year, 2021 has been a difficult year. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to be at the forefront of everyone’s existence. On top of that, the Delta variant and the more recently discovered Omicron variant entered the scene.

Personal loss, social unrest, high economic barriers, and limitations in personal interactions permeated the planet for nearly 24 months. For at least the foreseeable future, it looks like these tense conditions will continue.

With the unwavering support of family, friends, clients and co-workers, we persevere through these difficult times. I am so grateful for these relationships!

I feel fortunate to have a solid career, which has allowed me this past year to help clients in many complex, sophisticated and challenging projects. I have written white papers and presented (virtually) at several major tax conferences. In addition, I am happy to have authored or co-authored 16 articles on taxation:

Federation of Legsilation

Washington Tax Updates

Oregon Tax Updates

Other national and local tax updates

Personal messages

I thank my colleagues Peter Evalds and Kyle richard for contributing to several blog posts this year. Their help was important and appreciated.

I sincerely want to thank the readers for their support, advice, encouragement and notes of gratitude for the content and ideas we have provided. I have received several notes from readers thanking us for our comments, offering ideas for future blog posts, and providing terrific comments. This year, with the continuation of social isolation, it has been particularly rewarding to interact with readers.

I plan to continue blogging next year and continue to provide advice to the tax community. Hopefully we will release a report on the new federal tax legislation in early 2022!

I wish everyone a safe and wonderful Christmas and New Year!
